We kunnen het niet vaak genoeg zeggen: je gewicht is slechts een getal en zegt helemaal niets over de vorm van je lichaam. Herinner je nog de vrouwen die allemaal hetzelfde gewicht hebben maar een totaal ander lichaam? En nu hebben we nog zo’n voorbeeld voor je.

Adrienne Osuna bracht uren door in de sportschool en trainde tot ze niet meer kon, maar of de kilo’s er volgens de weegschaal afvlogen? Ho, maar. Omdat de moeder echt wel merkte dat er iets aan haar lichaam veranderde, besloot ze niet de weegschaal maar de spiegel als maatstaaf te gebruiken. “Twee pond afgevallen! Vet verloren, spieren gekweekt”, schreef ze bij een van haar foto’s op Instagram. “De weegschaal meet niet de balans tussen vet en spiermassa. Onthoud dat. Blijf doorgaan, meiden!”
